Eminem reportedly refuses to apologise about the botched sound at his London show Friday night. The rapper sold out Wembley Stadium for his first concert in the city since 2001, but many fans complained they couldn’t hear his lyrics due to the venue’s poor speakers.

전하는 바에 의하면 Eminem이 자신의 금요일 밤 런던 공연에서 있었던 사운드 문제에 대해 사과하길 거부했다고 한다. Eminem은 2001년 이후 처음으로 가진 런던 콘서트를 매진시켰으나, 많은 팬들이 공연장의 형편없는 스피커 때문에 가사를 들을 수 없었다고 불만을 터뜨렸다.

The Sunday People reports Eminem isn’t happy so many people had a bad experience, but blames Wembley for the issues.

“Obviously Eminem was upset that some of his fans didn’t enjoy the show as much as they would have done but he won’t be saying anything, Wembley are investigating,” a source said.

“But, he wanted to ensure that things were sorted for tonight’s gig, he didn’t want it happening again.”

Sunday People지에 의하면 Eminem은 많은 사람들이 좋지 못한 경험을 했다는 것에 기분이 좋지 않았고, 이 문제에 대해 웸블리를 비난했다고 한다.

"분명히 Eminem은 자신의 몇몇 팬들이 마땅히 즐겼어야할 만큼 공연을 즐기지 못했다는 것에 화가 났지만 아무 말도 하지 않을 겁니다. 웸블리가 확인 중입니다" 라고 소식통은 말했다.  

"하지만 Em은 오늘밤 공연에 있었던 문제가 완전히 해결되었다는 것을 분명히 하고 싶어했습니다. 다시 그런 일이 일어나길 바라지 않았어요."

Apparently the mis-hap didn’t hinder Eminem’s performance, however. The hip-hop star reportedly felt like he gave a great show before he heard about all the problems.

“He loved Friday’s show and was delighted with how it all went. He is sad for the fans who didn’t get to enjoy it as much as they should have done. However, he has been reassured that the whole stadium wasn’t affected,” the insider added.

그러나 이런 해프닝이 Eminem의 공연을 방해할 수는 없었던 듯 하다. 소식에 의하면 힙합스타는 이 문제에 대해 알기 전까지 공연을 성황리에 마쳤다 생각했다고 한다.

"금요일 공연을 아주 마음에 들어했고 기뻐했어요. 마땅히 즐겼어야할 만큼 공연을 즐기지 못한 팬들 때문에 마음이 안좋긴 하지만요. 하지만 공연장 전체에 문제가 있었던 것은 아니라고 (웸블리 측에서) 안심시켰습니다."

하긴...사과한다고 하면 그게 더 이상할 거 같어.
