Royce Da 5’9 Says ‘Nobody Is Gonna Beat Eminem’

During this past Sunday’s (July 27) U Dubb Annihilation event in New Jersey, VladTV caught up with Royce Da 5’9 to discuss various battle rap related topics including the return of fellow Detroit emcee Eminem.

In the interview, Royce states that he hasn’t spoken with Eminem about his return to the ring but admits whoever his potential opponent would be will lose saying, “nobody is gonna beat Em.”

지난 27일 VladTV는 뉴저지에서 로이스 다 파이브 나인을 만나 배틀 랩과 디트로이트 동료 엠씨 Eminem의 컴백에 대해 이야기를 나누었다. 인터뷰에서 로이스는 링 위로 다시 돌아올 것인지에 대해 Eminem과 얘기해 본 적은 없지만 상대가 누가 되었든  Eminem에게 패배할 것이라고 인정한다. "누구도 Em을 이기진 못할 겁니다"

 

“I don’t know,” he said. “I haven’t had a conversation with him in depth about his ‘return.’ It sounds so far-fetched to me but you never know, I never speak for Marshall, that’s one thing I never do because he’s very spontaneous like I am. You never know, man. If he wakes up one day and decides he wants to do it, it’s his platform [so] he can do it. Whoever it is is gonna lose. Nobody is gonna beat Em. I don’t care what anybody has to say it’s just my personal opinion. All of that shit that Dizaster does connecting the syllables, he’s like a fine mixture of a lot of great battle rappers and [Eminem] still has that. He can still freestyle and I think it would be great if he were to do that, definitely. But I don’t know if it’ll happen or not.”

"모르겠네요, 컴백에 대해 Em과 깊게 얘기해 본 적이 없어요. 제가 보기엔 현실성이 없어 보이지만 모르는 일이죠. Marshall 일을 제가 대신 얘기하지 않아요. 제가 절대 하지 않는 일이죠. Em은 저처럼 정말 즉흥적이거든요. 모르는 일이에요, man. 어느 날 아침에 일어나서는 돌아가겠다 결심할 지도 모르죠. 이건 엠의 플랫폼이니 엠이 원하면 할 수 있어요.  누가 되었든 질테죠. 누구도 Em을 이기지 못해요. 다른 사람들이 어떻게 생각하든 상관없이 그냥 제 개인적 의견입니다. Dizaster가 음절들을 연결하는 그런 걸 보면 마치 엄청난 배틀 래퍼들이 잘 혼합되어 있는데 엠도 아직 그걸 갖고 있어요. 엠은 지금도 프리스타일을 할 수 있고 만약 한다면 정말 좋을 거라 생각합니다. 하지만 그런 일이 있을지 없을지는 모르겠네요"
